中國根據(jù)來華留學(xué)生的留學(xué)時限，將留學(xué)簽證分為了X1簽證和X2簽證兩類。

According to the duration of overseas students' study in China, student visas are divided into X1 visas and X2 visas.

在華學(xué)習(xí)時間超過半年的學(xué)生須持X1簽證入境。持X1學(xué)習(xí)簽證入境后，簽證有效期為30天，必須在入境后30天內(nèi)辦理居留許可。簽之家建議學(xué)生不要過早入境，因為您只能在學(xué)校報到后才有資格申請辦理居留許可。

1. X1 Visa

Students who have studied in China for more than half a year are required to enter China on X1 visa. After entering the country with the X1 study visa, the visa is valid for 30 days and the residence permit must be applied within 30 days of entry. Students are advised not to enter the country early, as you are only eligible to apply for a residence permit after registering at the university.

2、X2簽證

在華學(xué)習(xí)時間小于180天的學(xué)生須持X2簽證入境，有效期會標(biāo)明在簽證頁上。自入境當(dāng)日起可以停留指定的天數(shù)，最長不超過180天。

2. X2 Visa

Students who have studied in China for less than 180 days must enter China on a X2 visa. The validity period will be indicated on the visa page. They may stay for a specified number of days starting from the day of entry, with a maximum of 180 days.

持X2簽證入境的同學(xué)們，無需辦理居留許可證件。X2簽證只能往返中國一次。

Students who enter China with X2 visa do not need to apply for residence permits. X2 visas allow only one trip to and from China.

Basic application materials

1、護照：有效期為6個月以上、有空白簽證頁的護照原件及護照照片資料頁復(fù)印件1份。

1. Passport: valid for more than 6 months, original passport with blank visa page and photocopy of passport photo information page.

2、簽證申請表及照片：1份《中華人民共和國簽證申請表》及1張粘貼在申請表上的近期、正面、彩色（淺色背景）、免冠、護照照片。

2. Visa Application Form and photo: one copy of Visa Application Form of the People's Republic of China and one recent, front, color (light background), bareheaded and passport photo pasted on the application form.

3、合法停留或居留證明（適用于不在國籍國申請簽證者）：如您不在國籍國申請簽證，您需提供在所在國合法停留、居留、工作、學(xué)習(xí)的有效證明或有效簽證的原件和復(fù)印件。

3. Certificate of legal stay or Residence (applicable to those who apply for a visa in a country other than your country of nationality) : If you apply for a visa in a country other than your country of nationality, you need to provide the original and photocopy of the valid certificate of legal stay, residence, work or study in your country.

4、原中國護照或原中國簽證（適用于曾有中國國籍，后加入外國國籍者）：如您系首次申請中國簽證，須提供原中國護照原件及護照照片資料頁復(fù)印件；如您曾獲中國簽證并持新?lián)Q發(fā)的外國護照申請簽證，須提供原外國護照照片資料頁及曾獲得的中國簽證復(fù)印件（如果新護照所記載的姓名與原護照不一致，還須提供有關(guān)官方出具的更改姓名的證明文件）。

4. Original Chinese passport or original Chinese visa (applicable to those who have previously held Chinese nationality and later acquired foreign nationality) : If you are applying for a Chinese visa for the first time, you must provide the original Chinese passport and a copy of the passport photo page; If you have previously obtained a Chinese visa and are applying for a visa with a new foreign passport, you must provide the photo information page of the original foreign passport and a copy of the Chinese visa you have obtained (if the name on the new passport is different from the original passport, you must also provide the relevant official document of name change).

1、中國境內(nèi)招收單位出具的錄取通知書原件及復(fù)印件；

2、《外國留學(xué)人員來華簽證申請表》（JW201或JW202表）原件及復(fù)印件。

2. Original and photocopy of Visa Application Form for Foreign Students in China (JW201 or JW202 Form).

（注意：持證人入境中國后須在30日內(nèi)向擬居留地縣級以上地方人民政府公安機關(guān)出入境管理機構(gòu)申請辦理居留證件。）

(Note: The holder shall, within 30 days after entering China, apply to the exit/entry administration authority of the public security organ of the local people's government at or above the county level for a residence permit.)

X2字簽證：中國境內(nèi)招收單位出具的錄取通知書原件和復(fù)印件。
